Hotel Description

Location. The Latham Hotel is a European-style boutique hotel located in the historic city center of Philadelphia, Pa. Independence Hall, the Pennsylvania Convention Center and Amtrak stations are all within one mile. Rittenhouse Square, two blocks away, is one of the original open space parks planned by William Penn in the late 17th century. The surrounding area of the park teems with shops and fine restaurants. The Philadelphia International Airport stands 10 miles from the Latham Hotel.
Hotel Features. The hotel's Art Deco brick building sits on the corner of South 17th and Moravian. The impressive lobby features dignified furnishings and oriental rugs beneath high ceilings and a shimmering chandelier. Originally constructed as a residential building, the Latham Hotel maintains residential intimacy with personalized service. A concierge is available to assist with transportation needs and event arrangements. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. Each guestroom has a unique floor plan, and some feature large bay windows offering city street views. Décor is traditional, with dark-wood furnishings and floral upholstery. Amenities include writing desks and chairs, bathrobes and cable television.

Expert Tip. Although it's recommended that visitors book tickets and parking 45 days in advance, the Barnes Foundation is a gallery like no other.
